Tournament Format
- The tournament will be conducted on a league basis .
- Each team will play against all other teams.
- At the end of the league stage, the teams placed First and Second will qualify to play the Final.
- Team positions for the tournament draw will be decided by chit drawing.
Match Duration & Overs
- Each match will consist of 5 overs per side, with 6 balls per over.
- Each team must complete their 5 overs within a maximum of 20 minutes.
Team Composition
- Each team shall consist of 7 players, including a minimum of 1 female player.
- Under no circumstances shall the number of players exceed seven 7.
- Team squads cannot be changed during a match.

A substitute player may be allowed only for fielding purposes
due to injury.
- Substitutes are not permitted to bat, bowl, or keep wickets without the consent of the opposing team captain.
- Male players may not substitute female players, and female players may not substitute male players.
Batting Rules
- The first over must be batted by a female batter.
- Female batters are allowed to bat only during the first over.
- After the completion of the first over, female batter must leave the field with in 1 mintue, while female player must remain on the ground for fielding.
- After a wicket falls, the next batter must be ready at the crease within 1 minute. The dismissed batter must leave the field of play without unnecessary delay.
Bowling Rules
- The first over of each innings must be bowled by a female bowler.
- The restriction on the maximum number of overs per bowler is removed. A bowler may bowl any number of overs from either end.
- Only Two bouncer per over is permitted.
- The maximum number of bounces allowed 2.
- Chucking is strictly prohibited and will be called a No-ball (Free hit not available).
Extras & No-Balls
- Wides and No-balls will be counted as one 1 extra run.
- A full toss is permitted provided it does not exceed the batter’s waist height. Any delivery above waist height will be called a No-ball.
- For all No-balls (overstepping or waist height), the next delivery will be a Free Hit.
Female Player Special Rules
- For each run scored by a female batter, an additional two 2 runs will be added to the team total.
- Example:
- 1 run scored + (+2) = 3 runs added
- 2 run scored + (+2) = 4 runs added
- 4 runs scored + (+2) = 6 runs added
- If a female bowler delivers a wide or no-ball, an additional two 2 runs will be awarded to the batting team, and the delivery will be counted as a valid ball.
- If a female batter is dismissed, one 1 run will be deducted from the total score, and she will continue batting.
- If her score is zero 0 at the time of dismissal, no run will be deducted.
- If a female bowler delivers a wide or no-ball, and it results in normal runs, boundaries, byes or an overthrow, an additional two 2 runs will be awarded to the batting team. These extra 2 runs are applicable only for wides or no-balls, and no extra runs are added for normal runs and boundaries.
- Example:
- Wide + 3 scored + (+2) = 6 runs added
- No ball + 6 scored + (+2) = 9 runs added
LBW Rule
- A player cannot be given out under the Leg Before Wicket (LBW) rule.
Super Over
- If a match ends in a tie, a Super Over will be played to determine the winner.
- If the Super Over also ends in a tie, the Super Over will be repeated until a winner is determined, in accordance with ICC rules and regulations.
Umpiring
- Each match will be officiated by two umpires.
- Umpires will conduct matches according to standard cricket rules.
- The umpire’s decision is final and binding.
Points System (League Stage)
- Win: 2 Points
- Loss: 0 Points
Eligibility
- Only Embla staff are eligible to play tournament.
- Team Managers are eligible to play in the tournament.

Additional Information
- Teams are encouraged to bring their own cricket bats.
- Cricket balls will be provided by the organizers.
- Refreshments will be provided to all participants.
